WHO IS THE C-LEVEL SALES GUY?

My name is Jack Agnew. I've sold technology for companies both large (Oracle, TIBCO) and small (firms you've never heard of). I've sold bleeding-edge technology and technology on the back half of the adoption curve. I've sold throughout the United States, but most of my time has been spent in TOLA (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas).

There's a primal satisfaction that comes when you close that big deal. I'm based in Dallas, TX, so maybe hunting analogies come naturally around here. At the same time, the process of selling an enterprise software deal has been compared to getting a bill through Congress-- not exactly caveman stuff.

My other passions include history, theater, faith and family. You'll find a little bit about all of these sprinkled throughout the blog.
